Peer Review Process
Journal of Integrated Nursing and Public Health employs a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both reviewers and authors are hidden from each other during the review process.
The review process includes the following steps:
1. Initial Screening
The editorial team assesses each manuscript for scope, originality, and adherence to journal guidelines.
2.Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the field.
3. Double-Blind Review
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts for scientific rigor, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field. Each reviewer makes a recommendation: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer feedback, the editor makes a decision and communicates it to the author along with the reviewer comments.
5. Revisions and Final Decision
If revisions are requested, the author must resubmit the revised manuscript. The editor may resubmit it to the same reviewers for re-evaluation before making a final decision.
The average time from application to first decision is approximately [2 weeks].
